I'm just at the point where I've got no idea what to do anymore, and it's depressing. The only thing keeping me subbed is housing. Housing which, frankly, hasn't seen anywhere near as much use as I'd hoped for when I got it. So now I'm left wondering if I'm being an ass by keeping it.

Idk, the only way I could possibly return to RP would require those fundamental changes to Sylv, and a big part of the reason I made him so low-power is because I didn't enjoy the like... hero-style RP at all. I don't care to RP adventuring. It doesn't appeal to me. But I see little else out there.

I just don't know what to do anymore. I log in, and there's very little I want to do. I enjoy moon crafting and gathering, but that's not going to hold my interest long-term.

Yeah, there's plenty for me to do, but I log in and have zero desire to do anything.

I've never been good at coming up with new characters, and just trying to come up with *one* took me over a month. Then he never got used because the stuff he would have been involved in was abandoned when DT dropped and everyone became obsessed with RP in Tural.

Unfortunately, Sylv is such a low-power character that there isn't really room for him to do shit in independent storylines. So I think the only way forward is to change fundamental parts of his character, which will require retcons that I'd prefer not to do.

I had been working there but, obviously, quit. Frankly, I'd expected much better of that place. Doesn't help that, when I filed a complaint of the exact same nature as the reason used to ban my friend about the owner's friend, it was ignored outright. Now I can't even find motivation to RP.

I honestly don't know if I even want to play xiv anymore. I've not felt like doing battle content in over a year. Then, a couple months ago, the last venue I had any trust for banned a good friend for a bullshit reason founded on the owner's friend's biased assumptions about said friend.
