Been to the beach again. Tide was right at low at 4.30 afternoon so made the most of for a quick walk before evening. Bit gloomy, but it was refreshing. A dog was chasing a ball, spot the ball.

It's been a big few weeks and a big long day I imagine. Emotional on all levels. Lacey putting in an epic performance, supporting Lacey and then James leaving.

Mothers never stop mothering. My mother was in final days and she looked at her 70 year old son standing at the end of the bed and said " don't get cold, put a jersey on."❤️

We have had perfect sunny days since Boxing Day. It's been hot, the sun is very intense with our pollution free blue skies. Watering garden but it needs real rain.
A shower of rain earlier but it hardly wet the ground. More to come Saturday. It's welcome.🌿
