The focus of this morning’s daily message to Rep. Boebert centered on the President’s assertion that the purpose of the European Union was to screw over the U.S. and her blind support of the Pres., whether he’s right or wrong. I challenged her to call him out when he lies. We all know she won’t.

Tomorrow I’ll share with Rep. Boebert my concerns regarding some of the rhetoric floating around regarding Social Security, On Friday, I’ll send her a message regarding the imperialistic approach we’ve taken regarding Greenland. I’d encourage everyone to call or write your elected officials.

Yesterday or wrote to my two senators with specific concerns I had about the proposed termination of the U.S. Dept. of Education. I shared those concerns with Rep. Boebert this morning, after she had recently responded to an earlier message I’d sent her regarding the same.

Earlier this morning, I asked Rep. Boebert how she can support the U.S. standing on the sidelines, turning its back on the atrocities already committed, when its practice so clearly conflicts with her own beliefs.

Rep. Boebert, on her Twitter account posted: “The murder of Christians anywhere on earth should NEVER be ignored”. Three years ago, Russia invaded Ukraine, leaving thousands of civilians dead/murdered in their path. More than 87% of Ukraine’s population is of a Christian sect.

…she dedicates the book to her four boys, “who I promised would never grow up in a socialist country…”. I’m glad she didn’t make similar promises about growing up in a dictatorship or an oligarchy, headed my a megalomaniac. We wouldn’t want her to break promises to her children, would we?

Those who’ve read any off my previous posts know of my…displeasure with my congresswoman, Lauren Boebert. To better understand her, I’ve begun reading her autobiography, “My American Life.” I wouldn’t ever endorse it, but…

The average household receives $2,724 in SNAP benefits annually. With weekly golf trips, taxpayers can assume spending $52 million annually for travel to and from. That amount divided by the average two-person household benefit amount equals 19,089 households per year, near to SNAP count in CD4 .

After reading that the taxpayers foot the bill for Pres. Trump’s near weekly visits to golf at Mar-a-lago to the tune of about $1 million per visit, I calculated that, over a year’s time, that cost would roughly equate to the amount spent in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District on SNAP benefits.

This afternoon, June and I attended a pro-Ukrainian rally in downtown Denver. Thousands listened to speeches delivered by Sen. Bennet and Rep. Pettersen. Where was Rep. Boebert? I asked her, but don’t expect a response.

I just wrote my Representative, Lauren Boebert, asking where she was. Clearly, I’m not expecting a response. Lots of colorful signs were held, many of which can’t be repeated here😃.

June and I just returned from a pro-Ukraine rally that started on the front steps of Colorado’s State Capitol building, then marched through downtown Denver. I’m guessing there were maybe 3,000 rally-goers in attendance, all inspired by speeches from Sen. Bennet and Rep. Pettersen.

… to ensure that this doesn’t happen. I also let her know that my daily messaging to her through the official House portal was for purposes of creating a permanent record of how unresponsive she has been and continues to be to her constituents -something that will resurface in 2026 election cycle.

This reduction if force (RIF) would be to an already acknowledged fragile system, and with no strategic plan on how such a RIF will be rolled out, many are concerned about disruptions in their monthly benefits. I asked her what she can tell her constituents that she’s personally doing …

I pointed out that staff at Social Security had dropped from 67,000 in 2010 to 57,000 in 2025, while the number of beneficiaries, nationally, had increased from 60 million to 73 million over the same timeframe. I reminded her that Elon Musk has proposed a further reduction in workforce of 7,000.

This morning, I sent a message to Rep. Boebert regarding the proposed reduction in workforce for the Social Security Administration. In a district with 722,000 constituents, 123,000 (or 17%) receive social security benefits - a lifeline that allows many of them/us to live in our homes.

In seems incongruous to both support the XO and at the same time, support decimating cuts to Medicaid that, with near statistical certainty, will shorten people’s lives. I reminded Rep. Boebert that there are 150,000 individuals in her congressional district that receive Medicaid coverage.

A closer look at life expectancy statistics finds that the top 1% earners is the U.S. have a life expectancy between 10 and 15 years longer than those in the bottom 1%. A separate study found that Medicaid recipients had longer life expectancies than those not on Medicaid.

Rep. Boebert recently posted on her X account her support for each of Pres. Trump’s Executive Orders (XO’s). XO 14212 establishes the President’s Make America Healthy Again Commission, the purpose of which includes addressing the life expectancy gap between the U.S. and other developed countries.

That said, even a single death is one too many and all could have been avoided had Russia not invaded Ukraine. What’s compelled me to write this post is the consistent reference to Trump’s and Vance’s comparison of the conflict being a card game with Ukraine not holding any cards. How thoughtless!

In an article appearing in The London Times this past Monday, they reported on the number of deaths that have come as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The numbers cited by Pres. Trump are far higher than the counts believed to be more accurate.

This is my first of what I hope to be many posts through Bluesky. June, my lovely wife and best friend, and I attended a rally in Castle Rock, in front of Rep. Boebert’s office, joined by dozens of others demanding that she hold a town hall meeting. We’ll see how that turns out…
