Mirae was so weird because around Splash they seemed to be doing so well and then just crickets and they disbanded. And poor Jinhyuk winding up on Starlight Boys and debuting I POLARIX which seems to have been a scam??? Survival shows are wild.

Yah Dongpyo was in that mess. That was the one where they found out mnet manipulated the votes on produce 101 and a bunch of people went to jail and they discontinued p101 in Korea only to bring it back years later with a new name, Boys Planet.

Yah a lot of these mixed company survival shows are usually just 2 year contracts. Though there's speculation that AHOF might be longer than 2 years?

I just hope that we never have another X1 fiasco where shit hits the fan and the group disbands after 3 months.

They are indeed a project group. I think they have a 2 year contract. Though who knows at this point what is happening with these project groups.
