It’s such a cool hologram. In my current read through I’m (this moment) opening X-Men #18 so I’m almost there. Been along time, and yeah remember how shocking it was. Just brutal.

This looks fun! Here’s my #Magneto choice, just randomly looking through the camera roll.

It’s the Gold variant B cover to X-Men #25 (1993), when Magneto rips out Logan’s adamantium. Didn’t know this variant existed until maybe 5 yrs ago, had to get one.

Hey, happy birthday Ben! Yep they come fast, so here are some kinda predictable (from me) but cool #45 comics in my collection.

And yes, I realize this is like my parents telling me about going down to the soda shoppe for a malted.

I hear you. Finished the Claremont Run (took me forever), then a palate cleanser of full Alpha Flight Vol 1, impulsively decided on this.

491 issues is a lot, especially since I always have a fiction and non-fiction book from the library. So I need all the good luck you can spare!

Btw, issue with Jubilee rollerblading (and teaching Professor X how to blade - promise!) came out in 1992.

I was an early adopter, and her blades look like my Rollerblade Aeroblades. In 1992 I was likely on campus, blading, listening to MTV’s 120 minutes CD on my Sony Discman (no skipping!)

Another sweet book, nice! #TopShelfFriday for me is Amazing Detective Cases #11 (1952), officially the oldest comic in my collection.

Picked it for the scary cover, got it b/c they mention mutants by name and it’s before X-Men #1. Fun stuff!

Thank you! It def has a creamier texture, risotto less toothsome (I think that’s the word I heard used?) than the version at the stove. Still tastes good to me.
