Throwback to high school . An old drawing from around 1980 or so, of Frankenstein on tracing paper. I can see I was trying to keep it in 4 major values having gotten a copy of Andrew Loomis's Creative Illustration. I never finished it or some reason, maybe because I ended up disliking it.

That's how I wish PAFA was , modern art students are wussies! His students were some of the best illustrators and painters ever, Cornwell, Tepper, Schaeffer, Riley, Schmidt.

A typical 12 hour work day as a student of Harvey Dunn,( if you were accepted)... a landscape before breakfast, then a still life study, in the afternoon a figure study out doors, then a sunset.
