clear info on. This was a real scene on the El. There is drama and art happening around you all the time if your eye is both sensitive and hungry for it. The gal reading Maus caught my attention and I started snapping coverage of the real scene. Life is art if you look.

From 16 years ago. My first real serious painting when I went back to art school. It was a challenge as it was from covert snaps I took while riding into school on my very very old cellphone which must have had 4 pixels. So there was real info but lots of invention to fill in what I didn’t have

The Real FF! I got this from Joe Sinnott the same time I got the Thing Sketch. His inscription to me has faded because it was an old fugitive marker . It hangs above my drawing desk for inspiration every day. Buscema --Sinnott!!

Big Barda cover sketch (circa 1972) So simple, yet it holds the promise of a missed opportunity for DC Comics and Kirby fans. Nearly every Kirby fan who sees this for the first time says, "Wow, that would've been a great series." Who knows what other proposed DC series were pitched in a similar manner, but never produced? Only time, and generous Kirby fans who dig this stuff out of their collections, will tell! [From KIRBY FIVE-OH!]
