Considering I spent the majority of my 20s in abusive and controlling situations, I am fully aware that I can't get that time back nor do I want it back

I've survived a lot of abuse and control in my 20s so I do admit it probably is jarring for people who came from my cosplaying days to see a facial piercing and tattooed Alex now, but sometimes it would be nice to be seen as pretty

I understand I am not conventionally pretty and I rarely get complimented outside of my boyfriend, and it's been hitting me hard how me being more myself is warranting me in no longer being seen as "pretty" because I don't hide behind cosplays anymore

But it is what it is, and I have to accept it

I am not feeling that great about myself as I approach 30 in a few weeks. I feel incredibly old and haggard looking, and I'm finding myself comparing me to others who are way younger than me.

If you live in the US, call your fucking representatives and tell them that repealing Section 230 is a horrible idea. If Section 230 is gone, you can kiss Bluesky goodbye.

I a few months blocked someone who repeatedly disrespected my boundaries and they as a result made alternate accounts to harass me (which happened yesterday).

It's something we're all guilty of, but if someone blocks you, I feel it's healthier to accept and move on

Clearsky was a mistake and it's a mistake because it's making people crash out over silly internet drama. If you don't like each other, block and move on.

If I get someone crashing out and adding me to block lists, that's a them problem. I know where I stand after having a presence on the internet since 2008
