Without Mirideth's arrival and subsequent conquest of Hearthea, Maria Carlena as she is in FHSD would not exist.
Mirideth arrived on Hearthea intent on ruling over what she saw as insignificant 'lessers'. Beings that simply did not matter beyond what they could provide for her.
