Nothing exotic in the end. It looked like we might get a very nice China Eastern 777, but I believe it went to CDG in the end. MAN just doesn’t have the space to take much these days.

This one was a particularly poor runner. I did it four times in a week in the spring of 1989 and I think it only managed to get beyond Oxford once 🤦🏻‍♂️

Oxford. It had worked the 11:18 York-Padd from New St. As was often the case though, it was so late that it terminated at Oxford.
