Especially early on I'm waiting for the long shot refresh time as they can just recover and immediately attack me. Maybe I just need to spend less time in the viewfinder mode, but at least they recaptured the experience of playing the original game on normal difficulty lmao

But uhhh I am reminded why I got so much out of playing FF3 on easy. The ghost fights take just a bit too long than they should. Demo is short so I'll probably run through it again to get a save for both difficulties just to see if it's viable

Not awful, but I hope the release version is a different build that at least improves the framerate to a more stable 30. The camera controls with gyro are really great.

Played the Fatal Frame 2 demo. It's promising, but it's kind of rough on Switch 2 (undocked, at least). Blurry visuals and the framerate isn't great

It really sucks how there's just nothing going on in 6 for item management, and you bring all your weapons into other playthroughs.

It's so boring to fucking shoot zombies, the death animation is so dull compared to 4,5, and the games after 6. I kind of want to see the hypothetical RE Engine remake just to see my bullets feel like they do anything.

They should never do this, but it would be fascinating to see them try

6 seems great for single player and mercenaries, but 5 is just such a tight game to play that I think back on a lot more fondly than what I played of this lol

But also

Am I crazy for thinking that 5 is a better co-op game, even if 6 might have better gameplay overall? I think I just dig that 5 is mostly co-op RE4

I had a great time in co-op but it feels counterproductive to enjoying the experience of a Resident Evil game. There's just no time to take the vibes in and feel anything, because as soon as you play a multiplayer game you're in constant Silly Fun Mode

Resident Evil 6 has genuinely given me a headache

I don't remember this costume change for the last act but maybe I accidentally got a special edition
