It’s a simply stunning song. And a perfect example of Neil’s examinations of human relationships. There’s a time and a place for the 70’s fantasy stuff but it’s no coincidence my real love for Rush coincides with his lyrical switch to more human matters. A true genius 💔

I have zero problem with SW reimagining and reinventing the music of his own musical heroes. Would be strange if he didn’t. Article says ‘pastiche’ but I think that’s ungenerous. His creativity stands on its own merits not the shoulders of what’s gone before. I think.
