Understanding these differences has been life-changing for how I approach connection. You can have incredible intimacy without sex, rich sexuality while single, or great sex without deep intimacy. Each deserves attention. When we know what we're craving, we can ask for it clearly. (Pt 2)

We use "sex," "sexuality," and "intimacy" interchangeably, but they're totally different. It's like calling a car, transportation, and a road trip the same, technically related, but missing key distinctions. Sex is the physical act, sexuality is your erotic self, intimacy is being truly seen. (Pt 1)
