Why do websites always say ‘we value your privacy’ when we all know that’s a downright lie. They don’t care less about our privacy and will sell our details to any bidder.

I suppose I’d better post a cat pic now that I’m here. This is a cat I rescued from some friends whose daughter dumped it on them when she went off to Australia. She can go out of the cat flap, but doesn’t seem to know how to come back in and plaintively paws at the door.

Saw this in a restaurant in Hong Kong and thought ‘yuk’. Only just found out that the more accurate translation is ‘mouth-watering chicken’. I wish I’d tried it now.
