05.02.2026 01:54 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0****Not my tattoo*** Hey everyone! I've been wanting to get a tattoo for the longest time and now that I've started considering certain artist in my area I'm getting nervous. I have a couple questions regarding placement and job. I want to get a face hugger tattoo since I'm a huge fan of the Alien franchise. I saw this tattoo and love it. My concern is placement. I work in a corporate engineering job and while it is relaxed, I'm just wondering if anyone similar in my position had any difficulties with job interviews or if they recommend getting it somewhere where it's easily coverable. Also pain lol since I do have a low pain tolerance. Last thing: I know I should get whatever I like and disregard what other ppl think but is it an ugly tattoo? One of my girl friends says it's gross lol Thanks! Originally posted by No_Friendship8924 on r/tattooadvice on February 4th, 2026.

Iโve wanted to add to this leg for about three years now, but I cannot make a decision and I thought it was fun idea like like hey letโs ask Reddit. What would you do if this is your leg? Iโm open to any suggestions or just fun ideas or whatever you come up with! Just wanna have fun with it and show off my cool skeleton tats lol information about me: Iโm down n groovy. I enjoy the oddities of the world and Iโm a big fan of dinosaurs, aliens, clowns, pretty much anything with fun colors and positive meanings. my goal is to have a cool leg sleeve that I could show off and be confident about it without it feeling โฆ.awkward like it does now. blend and appreciate the fun patchwork culture. 05.02.2026 00:45 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Are the colors light enough that if I asked an artist that specializes in grey scale it'll cover up? I have no hope for the blue parts of it to be completely honest. Any advice would be helpful thank you!For context. I repeatedly told my artist I do not want color (I should have said I want grey scale) "red does not stick on me, red does not look good on me, if we're gonna do red it has to be closer to orange." proceeded to do the entire ocean red. I also told him "I don't want the sky in this piece, I want to save it for something else." he takes out the blue and starts blasting me. 04.02.2026 23:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So my gf wanted to get a cover up and the guy wanted to blast over it in white ink first...this is how it looks after five days. I've personally had portions of tattoos that look like this (very raised and scabbed) and they either take multiple years to fully visibly heal (no visible scars or scabs) or the ink will fall out entirely. I'm worried that blasting over it in white ink was a complete waste of time and skin damage. What do you guys think? Will most of this shit just end up scabbing and falling out when it heals? 04.02.2026 21:44 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hi guys, Looking for some constructive advice on this recent tattoo I got. Is the placement as awkward as I think it is? Or am I just having tattoo panic and itโs actually fine? I do plan to add more tattoos to this arm and I also plan on adding more shading to the inside of the card around the woman and the monster but I just keep having anxiety that it looks off or weird. Any suggestions on what I could do to make it look less awkward? Originally posted by Sad_Pick2100 on r/tattooadvice on February 4th, 2026.

04.02.2026 20:44 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hey all, I just got an elbow tattoo two days ago and I donโt know anyone with one, so Iโm not sure whatโs normal for this spot. I like the design, but Iโm wondering if there might be some blowout. A few lines look slightly fuzzy or darker under the skin, especially when my arm is bent, and I canโt tell if thatโs just swelling or something permanent. Aftercare I was given was just to gently moisturize it, and they didnโt put any second skin on it at all. No unusual pain or heat, redness seems normal. I know elbows are tricky and move a lot, so Iโd love to hear from people who have elbow tattoos, did yours look rough at first and then settle? Thanks in advance for your advice! 04.02.2026 20:34 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hello, so as someone dealing with alopecia specifically one that is targeting hair on the back of my head and nape of neck Iโve decided to go forward with tattooing the area. I wanted to see peoples opinions and experiences if theyโve dealt with something similar and what to expect pain level wise. Just as a side note I am someone who already has a lot of work done on them already ( stomach, chest, sleeves, hands, neck and a few on a leg) Iโll also attach the inspo for the tattoo Iโm looking to do. Any advice going into it,and shared experiences would be super appreciated! Originally posted by Shvdow13 on r/tattooadvice on February 4th, 2026.

04.02.2026 17:44 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I (M28) was thinking of getting a tattoo like this on my thigh because I think itโs a cool design and medusa is pretty bad ass. When I spoke to my friend about it she said I shouldnโt due to the meaning, that Medusa tattoos are often gotten by survivors of SA. Is this something I (not a survivor of SA) should avoid? Or something my friend is hyper aware of as a survivor of SA herself. Originally posted by InfiniteEmergency on r/tattooadvice on February 4th, 2026.

04.02.2026 16:44 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hi! My artist is opening up her books soon and Iโd love to get another work of art to keep with me forever. Iโm having trouble thinking of things that would match both my current tattoos, but also my interests/โvibesโ (I like feeling like a whimsical fairy princess or something lol). I love both the ocean and celestial bodies and stuff, in addition to the florals/vines that I have going on, and would love to incorporate either or build off the vibes I have currently. The current plan that I have for future tattoos is to connect my arm vines with the sword on my back, have it wrap around my ribs and down to my right thigh (I am doing laser hair removal and want to wait until thatโs over). I quite like the look of one side being tattooed and the other side (arms or legs) being completely empty so I feel like I donโt have much space ๐ . Please let me know if you have any thoughts of things that I could add that could fit me! Originally posted by Ur_future_gf on r/tattooadvice on February 4th, 2026.

04.02.2026 16:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I got this done on the 22nd of January, and its peeled a lot (Iโll put a before and after) and my artist has said when itโs done healing itโll look more vibrant and its just this dull / faded because itโs healing. Iโm really anxious about it though. Touch ups are free for the first 6 months luckily but specifically Iโm just hoping for a more experienced person to tell me whether or not its going to return to โnormalโ or if this faded appearance is gonna stay and if Iโll recquire a touch-up pretty soon. Pls be kind :,). Originally posted by WhiskeyToxic on r/tattooadvice on February 4th, 2026.
