For sure, I definitely dont need it to be super combo intensive - honestly, it being on the simpler side is a boon in favor of the overall experience, at least so far - but it doesnt feel like there's enough to really sink my teeth into. Felt that way back in 2017 and I still feel it now.

It's *fine* and there's more than enough stuff to do in the game that has been really engaging (this is a Man I Love Fishing ass game if ever there was one), so it doesn't bother me that much, but it is still a point that sticks with me, unfortunately.

I completely agree, but I feel I must make the distinction that I do still enjoy getting into combat, I just don't find the style of combat to be particularly engaging.

I am, after all, mostly just holding one of two buttons to get the job done or avoid damage 99% of the time.
