Agree. I was an undergrad for 8 years, for a plethora of reasons. I *loved* being a student, and I wished I could just take classes forever. To this day, I joke my biggest life mistake was filing for graduation.

Hadn't realized he'd died. I agree, the Hyperion/Endymion quadrilogy was exceptional (though the latter, with a relationship between a man and a girl initially ~20 years his junior, was skeezy to me). Read The Hollow Man, didn't really get it.

This war is wrong because it is immoral, not because it is illegal. Aggression is illegal because it is immoral, and thus it is its immorality that should be the driving impetus behind enforcing its illegality.
