A senior woman in STEM I know said she was told when she started working to never smile at work so she’d be taken seriously. She indeed trained herself. I have not worked with her directly but have never seen her smile in any other professional context. Not RBF either, just 100% neutral.

I did not expect to see Soc Sec for me, but was expecting the caregivee to get what they put in. Medicare too. If SSA, Medicaid & Medicare disappear, care facilities will close or be private pay only. Where will old, ill people go? Meds will stop too, so will probably die awfully & save Elon money.
