have agreed to fund five night bus routes across #Aberdeen on Friday and Saturday nights, from later this month.

First Aberdeen’s single fare prices will apply on these services, which also means they will be included in the Scottish Government’s free bus travel schemes.

The suffering in Gaza is intolerable. The attacks by Israel must stop and humanitarian aid must flow immediately.

There must be resolute international pressure on Israel to halt its current stance. Humanity must prevail.

The UK has used the Scottish fishing industry as a bargaining chip for its own ends - again.

They didn’t even bother to consult the Scottish Government this time.

Only independence would allow us to negotiate our own settlement, and protect Scotland’s fishing industry.

The Prime Minister’s statement on immigration today will damage our economy, the NHS, social care and our universities. It ignores the need to boost Scotland’s working age population.

This sort of divisive language only plays into Nigel Farage’s hands.

Not in Scotland’s name.

Denis Law: Manchester United and Scotland legend dies aged 84 Former Scotland, Manchester City and Manchester United striker Denis Law - the only Scottish player to have won the Ballon d'Or award - has died at the age of 84.

Terribly sorry to hear of the death of Denis Law - an inspiring footballer of immense skill and talent. His record of scoring goals for Scotland made a special place for him in all of our hearts.

✅ Our budget delivers universal Winter Heating Payments for all pensioner households—yet the Tories plan to vote against it.

Aberdeen City Council has received over £400k from the Scottish Government to clear school meal debt accrued until 31st March 2024.

Save the Children is urging MSPs to back the SNP Government’s Budget, which:

🧸 Increases Scottish Child Payment to £27.15/week
📢 Starts abolishing the cruel two-child cap

This Budget is a step toward lifting thousands of children out of poverty

So much for Labour’s election pledge to energy bills by £300.

Westminster continues to fail when it comes to fair energy prices.

Scotland has the energy, what we need now is the powers to reform electricity & gas pricing.
