I will add though, I prefer the old visuals despite the remakes being a lot easier to get into. my desktop wallpaper is a rotating selecting of Myst and riven screenshots

I tried both, the remake is a lot easier to get into. This was the year of Myst for me, I played Myst and Riven for the first time.

Aria of Sorrow was my first Castlevania and I loved it. Honestly it was hard to go back to SotN since Aria was the one I played first and they are similar. I should try SotN again someday...

From a game preservation aspect I really dislike the idea of the content vault, so it coming back to potentially bite them is satisfying.
