1 week post double mastectomy! Sore and uncomfortable but boobless! They had to remove 2 lymph nodes on my left side, so I’m dealing with 3 drains instead of 2. Getting the drains out tomorrow!

Chemo sessions 5 & 6 were canceled due to some ultrasound results finding my cancer with “no notable changes” from the start of chemo 4 months ago.

Double mastectomy surgery 3 weeks from now! 🎉 Yeet the teets!

In my hiatus from full contact, I OPR’d 3 scrimmages in a row yesterday. I’m still recovering.

The other shoe has dropped.

Completed chemo session #4 today. Scheduled for an echocardiogram and ultrasound in the next 2 weeks. Chemo #5 in 3 weeks. Chemo #6 in 6 weeks. Surgery estimated for early May.

Welp my wife’s military career will soon be over at a very inconvenient time in terms of my health. Hegseth has been confirmed.

I’m now feeling normal and symptom free. Just in time for another round of chemo next week. Cancer treatment is the worst.

My wife, metamour and I went axe throwing for the first time last night. I had a hard time getting my axe to stick due to an overly chopped up board and not throwing *straight*. As to be expected.

4 weeks into chemo and dropping new symptoms. Getting the dry cracked lips, mouth sores, and random bruising. Woo hoo.

It is not even available medically. It is illegal.

How unfortunate it is to be working in the cannabis industry for so long, and then moving to a state where it is illegal, only to get diagnosed with cancer. 🙃

Slightly less tired today, but not looking forward to the impending doom of nausea.

At this point, it feels like a microaggression when something asks for a "preferred" pronoun. I'm so tired.

Two days post chemo. I’m the tiredest person in tiredsville.
