The best thing you can do for yourself is to never stop learning, it's the same thing I'm trying to teach my kids. I was raised in a heavily conservative, evangelical church, so I grew up learning to never question, now that's all I do. Learning is fun!

It's similar to, and yes this is something I've actually seen, a Christian saying the criticism of their religion and Bible is Christianphobic. It's important to understand the difference between the criticism of a religion and bigotry towards a people group.

Islamophobia is sometimes misused to deflect real criticisms of the Quran and the religion itself. This reply on reddit sums it up. "Criticize all you like, just like any other religion. When I read a news article, I don't at all care about whatever bias or spin the writer wants to put on it, whether that's right or left leaning, just throw out the basic facts of the situation and I can decide what to think and how to feel about it. News shouldn't have a bias.

I've seen several Islamic apologetics, and the only thing I come away with, is that Muhammad is a pedophile and Allah is, like the Christian god, a narcissistic, pedophilia condoning monster. It's an adult having a sexual relationship with a child, there are no other options. It's fucking gross.

They did not end up approving this appeal, I guess listing Muhammad as one of the biggest issues I have with Islam was a bit much, and I never even said why that is. It's due to the relationship between him and Aisha, the literal child he married, but that was never mentioned here.

There's several movies I love that came out when I turned 18 in 2006. The Omen, Hatchet, See No Evil, Texas Chainsaw: The Beginning, Apocalypto, The Hills Have Eyes, Final Destination 5, The Benchwarmers, The Departed, Blood Diamond, Accepted, Idiocracy and honestly I could go on 😂.

I think the only posts I've gotten even minimal interaction on here, are related to professional wrestling. I guess I still haven't figured out this app.

Finally finished Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. Good game, but absolutely fucking infuriating at times, some fairly difficult ship battles. I downloaded both Rogue and 3, probably do 3 first to get away from the heavier ship combat for a bit. Maybe eventually I'll do the Ezio trilogy as well.

If you meant that as an actual question, I'd have to say nothing changes for me, I'm not going to like what they're doing with Charlotte either way, even if she wins. But I agree with the way they've played everything out so far, they don't really have any other options.

Not sure if I'll play Origins or Odyssey. I put those two games down, just didn't enjoy them enough to play all the way through.

Finished Assassin's Creed Syndicate last night, Unity before it, and I think out of the two I preferred Syndicate. Going to start Black Flag today. So far I've played Unity, Syndicate, Valhalla and Mirage all the way through. Working my way through them out of order.

I've never been a big fan of Naomi, but I'm actually liking this version of her quite a bit, I think this heel turn is exactly what she needed.
