Standing by your grave
Cold and alone
My thoughts drifted to you
As i watched the flickering
Of warm lantern lights
Memories flooded in
Of good times now long past
Gone in the blink of an eye
A haunting reminder
From loving hearts
To shattered souls
Death soon comes for them all

The candles were lit
The string lights were softly glowing
Illuminating the steam filled room
And within warm soothing waters
We found our comfort
Cuddle up close
In each other’s arms
This was our romance
Nothing fancy or over the top
Just us
And the passionate love we shared

When hopes and dreams fade away
Whats left for the melancholy soul?
Lost within the dark
Forever wandering
Among the moss covered graves
A haunting specter
A warning to others
Not to waste precious gifts
To experience life
To it’s fullest potential
Lest you to become a ghost
Chained down by regrets

I lost myself
Somewhere in this journey
Through life and what it’s become
Did i ever really know who i was?
Did i discover my purpose?
And as the monster I am stares back
In the mirror that doesn’t lie
Maybe this is all i will ever be
Wasted opportunities
Of an unfulfilled life
Lost within the dark

We found comfort
In each other’s arms
Among the cool sheets of our bed
And the soft glow of the candles
As they illuminated the room
Our hands caressed
As our lips hungrily danced
Over heated flesh
And curvaceous forms
Hot and passionate
From the dark of night
Till mornings light

Reflection…
Exploring thoughts of the past
Finding meaning in the present
Hoping for a better future
Sometimes you need to walk
Among the darkness within
To find yourself
To overcome the trauma
That has beaten and bloodied
Your mind, body and soul
In order to find your true path

We seemed to find each other
Through the countless ages of this world and the next.
For we were lovers destined to be
Souls foretold to always reconnect
And we would always find our way back to one another
For time was meaningless to soulmates
Whose hearts guided them back into each other’s arms

Within the flickering of flames
And in the darkest of nights
The devils come out to play
Seeking sins, lust and debauchery
Among the self righteous
And the so called pure…

Fading away…
Lost in the darkness of my mind
I feel myself fading out
Not sure who i really am anymore
A figment of hopes and dreams
A reject of could’ve beens
In the end reality strikes
Regrets eat away at my soul
And as my world burns around me
I slowly turn to ash with each moment

I waited...feeling as the anticipation was rising on her skin, enjoying the way she softly whimpered moving her hips. As my warm breath and soft beard teased over silky wet lips i gazed up into her eyes seeing the need, the want burning within them. Oh my feast of her will be slow and methodical...

“A firm grip of hair…
A deep penetrating kiss…
Souls on fire…
Insatiable desires…
Passion’s unbound…
Let’s give in…
Satisfying our wants…
And feeding our needs…”

We forgot the world for a while
There was only this moment
In each other’s arms we stayed
Hands wandering, lips seeking
Our day filled with untold passions
Leading into a night of deep desires
We wanted to experienced it all
We felt alive
We felt loved
Cherishing each second we could
Always…

Staring into the distance
Watching the sun
As it burns the darkening sky
Cold winter winds
Chill me to the bone
As melancholy moments
Fill my broken heart
And my soul seeks warm comfort
Among snow covered graves
Longing to feel you close again
But Death has robbed me
Of your love

I heard your name
Whispered upon gentle winds
As they blew through the pines
Gazing into the flowing waters
Reminiscing on your smile
The way your eyes lit up
Shining with the depths of the stars
Soon brought back to reality
And my broken heart knew
You were forever lost to me

Black wild cat
With eyes of the night all aglow
Ever the vigilant watcher
Among graves
And tombstones
A guardian of souls
Now finally at rest
Peacefully slumbering
Within an earthly embrace

I sat alone
Within the dark depths of my mind
Soon I’m joined by a Raven
A messenger of untold visions
Prophetically he spoke to me
Of changes yet to come
An omen of transformation
What the universe will set into motion
But will i heed his word
Or continue to dwell in my darkness

I sit among the still waters of my mind
Dwelling in my despair and darkness
Overthinking…
As scenarios play out in my head
What could have been…
What should have been…
Forever lamenting on what is
Cursing myself for the life i live
Enduring what i have chosen…
Till the end…
