They do air prune. They might send roots down if there is constant water below. My recipe is packed with nutrients and microbes that I believe improves the garden soil while continuing to feed the plants after transplanting. I'm feeling inspiration to make a tutorial video

I’m a farm manager and currently have to use a massive amount of plastic for weed control and irrigation. I’d prefer not to, but that’s beside the point. I would love to know if plastic use over 10-20 years would significantly cut yields for a farm. A decrease in farm yields can have many factors.

It would be interesting to compare current farms with long practices of plastic and non plastic use.
