I used my 3d printable texture addon to give Suzanne a wh40k / astartes inspired make over. Based on a tweaked version of the reaction diffusion pattern with an underlying noise texture. Made in Blenders Geometry nodes and procedural shaders.

So finally cracked how to create points with a density gradient. This is surprisingly complicated to achieve in geometry nodes. They have a 2d version but not 3d. This will be very useful for the stochastic lattice such as in this example.

This is a new test for 2 damascus style patterns. I designed them using geometry nodes in blender and printed them on my anycubic 3d printer. I used nuln oil gloss to give the features more contrast.

That is Plastikote brilliant metallic gold spray paint over Hycote filler primer. Both warmed up to between 40-50c in water before spraying. With a bit of practice it looks really good. I haven't found a gloss coating that doesn't dampen the gold though.

2nd Ring test. Mainly achieved by dragging/copying the diamond elements around and changing the carat value and texture for the ruby. Diamonds on either side made using mirror modifiers, so fairly simple if you already know blender. #Blender #jewellery #geometrynodes

Deus ex inspired me on my degree. I also once interviewed for a role at open bionics soon after they had started. IIRC I told Joel about Deus ex at the interview.
