Right after Gavin Loudspeaker left, we (they?) did a tryout tour for a new ring announcers. We tried 4 of them of the folks who stood out during auditions. One of them was current political influencer Alex Pearlman. Said "Who's ready to have a good fuckin' time?!" almost immediately

Also a valuable lesson that so many people went to CHIKARA thinking it'd be the biggest/best thing they did, and I don't know a single person who peaked there.

Lots of lessons today.

Crazy to think that the guy who said "Fuck" in the first 30 seconds of announcing a CHIKARA show is now a very famous political influencer.

He's on my feed CONSTANTLY and my first thought is always the hushed, ominous feeling throughout a small midwest venue, knowing someone's getting chewed out
