Insane thing that just showed up online this week: RRR-500, a compilation of 500 5-second locked grooves on one record. Released in 1998. Artists on here include Sonic Youth, Ryoji Ikeda, Terry Riley, and of course, tons you've never heard of. An absolutely insane object. It's out there on Soulseek.
