I will never understand why some Americans still think that Republicans are pro-economy. They always destroy the economy every time they get in power, all the way back to Nixon. That's a run of over 50 years, and they still don't see the pattern. Here we go again, and they still don't get it.

When is the devil finally going to call Trump home?!!

I know that Donald Trump has no respect for the troops—or, well, anything other than money.

And this is a consequence of that lack of respect.

But, Jeez Louise, wearing a ball cap to *that* ceremony really underscores what an uncouth slob Donald is.

Born In The USA: How America Created Iran's Nuclear Program The U.S. provided Iran with its first nuclear reactor. It's still in operation at Tehran University, near the place where Iranians chant, "Death to America." It's all part of a long, strange history.

And then, a few years later in the 1950s, Eisenhower with his Atoms for Peace program, transferred nuclear technology to Iran, an oil nation.

I think (and have argued elsewhere) that there was a plausible possibility that tariffs would code as "decisive executive action to protect workers." That most voters came to understand how tariffs work is a rare civic triumph in which media did a good job in informing voters of complexity/nuance.

Charlemagne tha God: Trump attacking Iran bc Netanyahu has something on him: “What’s sad is when the whole world and Americans are looking at the situation and we know the reason is because you’re beholden to Netanyahu...We know you’re compromised in some way.” www.mediaite.com/media/charla...

Seems troubling.

More troubling would be the idea that the Administration might have bombed Iran without expecting this.

Indeed. On another disturbing subject and given your expertise in authoritarian governments, are you following The Americas bullshit Trump and Little Marco are creating excluding non-right wing governments in South America?

I've known for years that Trump doesn't have a suit that fits him well, but I'm just noticing that he apparently doesn't have a black one.

At this transfer of the fallen soldiers, everyone not in uniform is wearing black except Trump, who's in his usual rumpled blue, and Susie Wiles in white coat.

Trump launches an illegal war “on a feeling” (but really relentless pressure from Bibi) without any proper outreach to our allies and the international community and then expects everyone to jump to his demands. That’s not how it works Dumbo. Even The Economist says he needs to stop.

ICE and DHS are buying up warehouses across the country and turning them into detention centers.

And somehow taxpayers keep paying top dollar for empty buildings.

So… who’s getting rich? 💰

Pete Hegseth attempts to distract by being a Nazi

Nazi Pete wants you all to get distracted by his Sieg Heil instead of his very public capitulation to Russia, litany of war crimes, and failing Iran war strategy.

It’s all about toxic masculinity and it’s the worst thing possible to have hotheads running the military.

(My father was a career military officer and achieved the rank of Colonel. He spoke often about this.)
