Fair. The EZ6 is a horror one (like CoC or Mothership) but I just watched the video as well and most of the games are mechanically different than D&D (roll low, D6, etc.) except for maybe the first game but I'd even say more of a Bork design of all player facing rolls etc.

I think that's an unfair assessment of some of these games. Some use different mechanics for specific feels. It's talking about a specific genre of TTRPG imo. It's be similar to calling any fantasy with elves and/or dwarves as a Lord of the Rings clone

I cannot stress enough how helpful and in many ways reinvigorating an "idea book" is as a GM. Where you just write world building ideas, draw maps, create dungeons, or outline session ideas with no time pressure. It has allowed me to refine ideas to just drop in games and just enjoy creating

I want it to be widely known throughout the ttrpg scene that Pathfinder and Starfinder are the products of unionized labor by a bunch of queer and trans weirdos and our accomplices.
