Je me suis régalée à traduire ce cinquième volet haletant des "Archives de Roshar" de Brandon Sanderson, bourré de rebondissements et de révélations. Il faudra patienter un peu pour la deuxième moitié, mais la première arrive très bientôt dans vos librairies préférées.

Pas vraiment de vikings, c’est plus l’esthétique (VIIIème-Xème siècle en gros). Et la mer joue une grande importance.

Le titre avait été vendu comme étant "un mélange de Vinland Saga et de Berserk mais je trouve ça assez faux.

Par contre il est plus moyen-âge que viking. La mer est importante mais à part ça il n’y a pas vraiment de thèmes liés aux vikings. Tout au plus l’esthétique peut faire penser à Vinland, mais c’est juste typique du haut-moyen âge (pré-XII ème siècle). 2/2

Je le suis depuis le chapitre 1 et il est vraiment excellent. Pour ceux que ça intéresse, il y a aussi un ton très proche des tragédies grecques (avec une histoire de prophétie qui semble se réaliser au fur et à mesure que l’on tente de lutter contre), et un thème principal centré sur la famille.1/2
