Hi Lisa, here's a little painting of a zinnia, 6" round, oil on wood.

It looks like a great start. I took her trompé l’œil workshop last year. It was really good.

They'll also be saying "pencil-crayons," and duo-tang." Teachers should be aware that depending on province and subject, it can be easy to sub but difficult to get a permanent position especially if one is coming from out of province.

I rely on my 20/0 Princeton velvetouch liner to paint the edges of paper. They’re the best detail brushes I’ve found.

I did some little ink wash drawings for the first time in a while. It was surprisingly fun to work mostly from memory and imagination.

Fortunately I found schools that taught me to improve instead of telling me to do something else after that.

I’m Amy and I’m obviously interested in realism, but not very good at it, so I should probably focus on something else.
