There are now four out-of-control wildfires in New Brunswick right now, including the week long Miramichi fire.

The evacuation advisory has been lifted for Irishtown and the fire is considered contained. #NBWildfire

The entire province is under a burn ban.

Activities including camping, hiking and fishing are banned on Crown lands.

Heed these warnings from wildfire officials as the province continues to grapple with extreme conditions.

@NBEMO_OMUNB is asking people in the Irishtown, Tankville, Evangeline and Lakeville areas should be prepared to evacuate on short notice.

It is threatening people and property. Residents should have their evacuation kits and plans ready and available.

Two fires are considered out-of-control in New Brunswick.

One outside Miramichi is continuing to burn and did jump Highway 8 - some homes have been evacauted and others are on notice.

A significant fire has also ignited and is spreading quickly in Irishtown, near Moncton.

The fire has reached 160 hectares.

The Miramichi region is my home.

A wildfire that was detected three days ago has spread to nearly 65 hectares.

Forestry activities have been restricted by the province as the conditions continue to remain dry.

The fire has grown to the 35 hectares.

There are 8 air tankers, 3 bulldozers, 35 firefighters working the fire. The fire is under investigation at this time.
