I love Drifting Away. DA and Watch Your Back are two best dramas I've watch lately.
I like police c-dramas.

There was a time when I like European culture.
Lately I only obtained E-books and watch streaming videos. No more containers are needed.

Haven't opened these 2 containers for years and the books inside are dirty and ruined. There are also 1 container of vhs tapes but I don't have the player anymore.

I was watching 'Watch Your Back'(a c-drama about police vs thieves). There was this mute character and I thought the actor was very impressive. So I looked him up on MDL and it's Guo Cheng --> The Untamed's Lan Jingyi.
In A League of Nobleman, I also thought his acting was better than the 2nd ML.

It was interesting at first, then after 2/3 of the show (1 villain was still on the loose) it became predictable, quite boring.

Checking the Discovery Channel this morning and found that Exploring The Unknown with Wang Yibo is still showing

If the original script was so good, there must be many actors who wanted to play the main role and there must be many sponsors, the project wouldn't have to put off until Wang Yibo joined them.
Nobody knows a project will be successful or not, it's a gamble.

Finished watching War of Faith for the 3rd time.
Republican era dramas are usually about spies, but WoF is different.
I thought the original scipt must be so good, yet it didn't get a nomination at the Magnolia. I guess the final result must be the hard work of the cast and crew.

My feeling when I left the cinema after watching Yibo movies:
Born to Fly: I wish my country also makes such a patriotic movie.
Hidden Blade: the war is really cruel (couldn't stop thinking about those villagers buried in the mud)
One and Only : that was so satisfying!

On Day Day Up Sep 5, 2021, there was this 11 y.o. boy who did flare 84x.
Wang Han then asked Yibo, "How many times can you do this?"
Yibo: "Not even once."
... and the next year he went to film OnO.
Wang Yibo is the living example of 天天向上 - progress everyday.

None else could play this character, only Yibo. Where else could you find an actor who could do breakdance, or a breakdancer who could act?

I did rewatch it on Sunday.
Yibo is a hiphop dancer, so he had to work hard for this role. He had to master in a short time how to do headspin, airflare, Thomas flare, elbow flare, single elbow flare; also learn to realize the character of Chen Shuo. I guess he was the only choice to play Chen Shuo.

The actors did a wonderful job. The actions were so smooth. It's a pity that this movie belongs to the sport genre which is not popular.
It was difficult for me to rewatch that time because the cinema I went to, show it only once a day at 2 pm. They thought only school children were interested?

When I first heard about the project, I wasn't so enthusiastic. I had watched SDC 3,4,5... I felt I had seen all. However when I watched the movie, not even 10 mins had passed and I was surprised. I decided to go and watch it again. I think it was also due to the editing, music and camera works.

I like One and Only《热烈》very much. [I hate the English title.]
When I left the theatre after watching it for the 1st time, I felt so satisfied. Not many movies can make me feel that way, I remember have such a feeling after watching 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade' & 'Cinema Paradiso'.

I watched Endless Journey yesterday. Zhang Yi did a good job, but he often played as a police. This movie has a drama series version, starring Qin Hao, who also did a good job but I didn't see QH got any nomination.
I think the Huabiao circle likes ZY since he has won twice.

I bought this set of Yibo85 tissue. The paper is more durable than standard tissue and it has cute patterns, too 🥰

Finished watching We Are Criminal Police. It was very good. It's not easy to solve cases. A good leader is a must and the subordinates also have to have endurance and are willing to work hard.
Someone says the cases are real, so I googled a bit and found one of the cold cases in the drama was real:
