I hope you’re right! I think Russia would nuke Ukraine before giving up Crimea. I’m very surprised Syria changed regimes without more of a Russian intervention, but Russia is still in charge of its Mediterranean bases in Syria. Maybe a smaller section of Crimea could be left in Russian control.
