Johnson boxed intelligently, flexed and destroyed Flaz. Technical knockout but Flaz was out on his feet.

Tiger Johnson almost drowned Niklaus Johnson in the third with a crisp right hand. Round 4.

Niklaus Flaz vs. Tiger Johnson, 147lbs, a good main event on ProBox TV. Johnson is by far the more accomplished amateur who went to the Olympics but Flaz considers himself the better pro. For me, the question is who can handle the deeper waters, if it gets to that.

Thompson did better than I expected. Pero hurt him at the end of the 9th but Thompson had his moments over the course of the match. Still not enough to swing things Thompson's way.

Lenier Pero kind of reminds me of his countryman Mike Perez.

Good matches, so far. 154lbers Yoelvis Gomez battled Antraveous Graham to a draw. Next is the cruiserweight division with Pat Brown vs. Felix Valera. Although, technically it appears that they exceeded the cruiserweight limit by about 2lbs each.

Buatsi gets the decision. Parker's holding limited Buatsi's output but the actual effective punching by Parker was debatable.

Buatsi with the better jab but Parker's grappling is stifling Buatsi's output.

Parker using spoiler tactics, which are benefiting from Buatsi's discipline in that Parker can time his holding.

Main event, Joshua Buatsi vs. Zach Parker.

In spite of that, Arthur's had his share of success. I have it close, with Arthur ahead, but no idea how the judges have it and the early knockdown obviously factors in.

Age and freshness appears to be the elephant in the room in Rea vs. Arthur.

Bradley Rea vs. Lyndon Arthur, eventful so far. Rea knocked down Arthur in the second and has been caught with some solid punches but if Arthur can improve his defending, there's a lot of boxing left.

So far, I don't see this as a close judging issue. Mayer not only more active but her output is generally more effective. Spence has landed some good punches but Mayer not deterred.

In first round, Mayer looked sprightly with a nice jab and some punch variety. Spencer clearly the bigger framed of the two.

Main event. Mary Spencer vs. Mikaela Mayer. Mayer's debut at 154lbs.

Phinn caught Mathieu with some heavy punches. This is boxing, anything can happen. Even though Phinn had a very good 8th round, with two rounds left, Phinn needs a knockout or at least multiple knockdowns.

Phinn's got an engine because Mathieu poured on the pressure in the 7th but Phinn made it to the 8th.

Shakeel Phinn not caving against Wilkens Mathieu but Mathieu leading on points and having success with his counters and being the first to connect.

Did not see that stoppage coming at all, especially since Parker was rolling with a lot of those punches. Very surprised by the referee's decision. I'm a big believer in fighter safety but, in my opinion, that was early. Congrats to Wardley for pushing the needle.

Wardley closed that round well but Parker had his moments in that round too. Did Wardley's closing stanza outweigh Parker's generally better work in that round? Not so sure.
