The problem with having seven fics all from the same main canon is that you have to stop and choose which fic gets to flesh out what. I almost fleshed out Wyll meeting Karlach in Elys' fic but I obviously need to do that in my Wyllach fic, despite it being "canon" that it was Elys who helped him

I actually do enjoy "Astarion softens up because of how kind Tav is" (maybe with added guilt because I love tormenting him a bit) but it's interesting that a lot of people want to just fix Astarion and that's it when Wyll is right there, no need for fixing, prepackaged prince charming right there

Except like Nere I guess who's kinda pale and possibly Minthara? but she's arguably somewhat of a "good" character in that you can make an ally of her regardless of her actual personal moral alignment

tbh ever since a friend pointed out that a lot of the bad Drow characters in BG3 are exclusively dark skinned I can't unsee it. it's an oversight at best...
