Those are the Christian (Catholic) values of my youth. My parents lived by those values every day of their lives and taught them to me by example. Talarico is simply reclaiming the concepts and applying them. If that sounds “lefty” so be it.

Even if you're not a follower or a believer, the language of caring for one another, sharing what you have, if its not good news to the poor, its not good news, etc, that's all Lefty Language right there. So don't discount progressives who use that language to reclaim that position

1, Some people are rich
and some people are not.
2. Some people are thin
and some people are not.
3. Some people are good
and some people are not.
4. #3 has nothing to do
with #1 or #2
