The American people cannot pay their premiums with promises.

The Republicans have had TEN MONTHS to extend the insurance tax credits that tens of millions rely on. They’ve done nothing. Why would this time be any different?

It’s either in the bill or it isn’t getting my vote.

Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.

The lobbyist called it a “thoughtful approach.” Can’t imagine Americans who had their flights canceled this weekend agree!
