That’ll do it for the open scrimmage here in Calgary. Ingram, Quickley, CMB, Dick and Mamu were the standouts. Lots of turnovers and fouls, as you might expect 4 days into camp. Raptors will play their first preseason game (vs Denver) in Vancouver on Monday night.

Barnes is back on the floor to start the 2nd half of the scrimmage. No tape on his left hand (he had his thumb wrapped up on the bench earlier). He seems fine.

Looked like Scottie Barnes tweaked his left thumb going for a steal in the Raptors' open practice. He asked out of the scrimmage and is being tended to on the bench.

Rookie Collin Murray-Boyles has been one of the most impressive players on the floor today. Really pressuring Barnes and Ingram on D, which tracks with what he told us the other day. "I want to make it as hard as possible on them on offence. That's how I'm making them better."

Chomche hasn't been participating in practice the past few days and isn't in uniform today. Expecting an update on his status early next week.

Rajakovic reiterated that the Raptors want to play ultra aggressively on D this season, like we saw in the 2nd half of last year and in Summer League. With that style of play, he expects to spread out the minutes and use a big (10 or 11-man) rotation.

After a couple seasons of significant roster turnaround, Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic said he's excited to have some continuity going into camp and he could feel the impact of it on Day 1. "It felt like we weren't starting from zero, like we are building on the foundation we created."
