I just finished #amreading The Murderer's Daughter by Jonathan Kellerman.

It's the first book of his I didn't like. The main character was not at all likeable, and there weren't enough likeable ones or a compelling enough story to overcome that for me.

When I wake up the morning after a shelter adoption event, I like to think about the #dogs 🐩 who got adopted waking up for the first time in their new homes. Did they sleep well, did they get good night and good morning kisses?
