All in all, looks like a great deal & huge move for AEW! Especially with ROH being included! That will allow wayyyyyyy more people to be able to watch it that didn't before because they didn't want to get an additional subscription 🤘🏼

Just made an account for MyAEW, downloaded the app on firestick, checked out what the website looks like to get a little familiar with the layout. I'm gonna hold off on signing up until after Revolution because I wanna see the feedback of the viewing experience, but I'll likely get the annual sub 🤼

Last week, I said to my friend that he kinda looks like Josh Brolin as Thanos. The jawline is impeccable. He's a ruggedly handsome guy.

I watch pretty much every gcw show, so that's what I have it for. As long as gcw is on there, I'll still have it.

I will still have Triller+ for GCW and the occasional PWRevolver show. MapleLeafPro ppvs are still on there too. So unless they also find different homes, I'll still use it.

There's a reason it's so hard to explain in a concise way. It's unlike any other form of art or entertainment or sport. It has roots in carnival sideshow and theatre. Yes, we know it is scripted. That's what makes it good. That's what makes it more interesting than standard sports.

There's a reason why people like John Cena and The Rock have said that ppl in Hollywood told them that they were shocked how good they were at acting. There's a reason why pro football players who have become wrestlers have said that it's much more difficult than playing in the NFL.

Wrestling is so difficult to explain to people who don't understand it, because it is a deeply unique form of sport, athletics, theatre, combat, daredevil stunts, storytelling, and performance all in front of a live audience that can actively engage with the performance they are viewing.

In fairness, everyone I know has a vpn to watch wwe on netflix. We have all figured out ways to watch what we wanna watch at the lowest cost. I don't know anyone who signed up for espn. It will be the same with this. Those in the US that want to save money & still watch will get a vpn & sign up.

AEW's announcement today of their own streaming service WITH PPVs and ROH included is huge!!!! I already have a VPN so it seems like it would be a no-brainer for me to sign up for this and save money on PPVs and ROH. More ppl around the world will have easy, affordable access. Bravo AEW 👏🏼🔥🤼

You said people hated that match and never had anything positive to say about it and only decided they liked it in hindsight. I have a very different experience. Everyone I know loved it and instantly said it was match of the year, even though it wasn't the main event.

I literally have no idea what you're talking about. Everyone i know immediately loved it and said it was incredible and should have been the main event. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about it lol. Idk what circles you are in but you need new wrestling friends then.

This is exactly it. They've secured their business so well that it'll no longer matter when they have periods when creative isn't good. Also why I think there's a chance they sell to Saudi once TKO squeezes as much as they can. And they're hoping they're too big to fail once they're owned by Saudi.

They've really committed to that they are an entertainment show that is kind of about wrestling. And that's why they are so big & have a lot viewers who just are not at all interested in checking out any other show. Because wrestling is so niche, the average person is genpop is not a wrestling fan.

You're absolutely right. It always depends on what the value of the product feels like. If people feel like they are getting their money's worth, people will pay. If the show doesn't feel worth it, people aren't gonna pay. I've never regretted paying for an aew ppv.
