I came home early from work to mow the yard. I instead just laid in bed. Not feeling bad about that choice at all.

After 25 years together and celebrating an anniversary today, what do you get your teacher wife that just started a new school year?

Some flowers, a card, and commercial grade 15’ surge protectors so her students can charge their chrome books. One less thing for her to stress about. :)

I had to go six rounds seasoning this thing. This was the last. Two hours out here in the heat but this thing looks good. Once the smoke burns off, I am done and ready to use this baby! Who hoooooo!

My son brought a new mini-keg home after work. The problem is we weren’t done with the old one. Welp… I guess we need to drink the old keg down first. Giggle giggle. The sacrifices we make.

Dude you’re a good man. Parkinson’s is not an easy thing to deal with. Lots and lots of emotions on all front. Your GF is a friggin saint. Damn I love your priorities though… family. That’s worth celebrating! Very uplifting my man.

It’s really really hard to celebrate America right now. I don’t feel joyful. I don’t feel “domestic tranquility”. I feel stressed and anxious.

Maybe I’ll be in a better place tomorrow. Grateful for my family and the many blessings that surround us. Probably best to focus on that.

Oh my god I’m so old. I just bought a Shark CarpetXpert with StainStriker to clean the carpet in my teenagers room. Holy crap it worked wonderfully! So easy to use. Easy clean-up afterwords. Wut!?!?
