Farmers inheritance scandal is all bullshit, the noise is being created by the super rich. The Average farm in England is 88 Hectares. But over half the country farming only owns 20 Hectares. 88 (which is a big farm) Hectares, is 217 acres. The Average costs of farms owned by farmer families is £11,000.00. that's amounts to. £2,387,000.00. so the Average farm family won't get taxed. They only get taxed on anything over £3 million pounds. So if a farm costs £3.5 million. They'll get taxed on £500,000 also small farms who hit this threshold get 10 years to pay it off at no interest. But remember half of farmers in this country only own 20 Hectares. Labour are only after the likes of James Dyson and Jeremy Clarkson who hide their money in farms to avoid tax you and I would pay on our estate.

In a post on another forum, my party, The Lib Dems, posted a call for Labour to scrap the new inheritance tax aimed at rich agricultural landowners.

I disavow such a call and don't understand where it comes from.
