Hey, folks, I threw out my back yesterday, and I’m gonna have to have physio. I’m gonna be away for several days to recover. So I am gonna go and rest and can’t wait to be back to things soon!

I’d love for readers to know there’s so much diversity in the indie author world, which leads to a diversity of storytelling. You’ll get protagonists who break the mould and who reflect the lived experiences of their authors. You’ll get counter-narratives that upend harmful tropes. #SpoonieAuthChat

Well, me too, but that’s another story. Or maybe I just wish one of my invisible disabilities was the power to become invisible.

I’ve never understood artistic snobbery. It takes a lot of effort to write a book. And when you indie produce a work, you are wearing many hats. So you are working pretty hard to get that book out there.

We need to celebrate all the authors, imo. We’re all creatives. #SpoonieAuthChat

Indie filmmakers are real filmmakers.

Indie musicians are real musicians.

Indie authors are heckin’ real authors.
