NHS waiting times remain stubbornly long and one in four people in the UK have private health insurance so many are jumping the queue for tests, scans and surgery

Weβre delighted that the Prime Minister today announced a new agreement between the NHS & independent sector to help cut the NHS backlog.
Independent providers already treat millions of NHS patients every year, and this agreement builds on these strong foundations

Today's #NHS figures show waiting lists remain at record high levels.
If the Government is to meet the 18 week target once again our analysis has found that NHS activity needs to increase by 21% - stretching but doable we believe.
