For #Gnomad, we like to alternate between small environmental puzzles and bouncing combat encounters, which creates a rhythm that keeps the flow of gameplay feeling fresh from room to room.

These are a few of the small puzzle segments we've been workshopping.

Here we can see some of the wildlife native to the undergrowth, a Gorb

While they might look friendly, they're far from it. Their size and shape makes them the perfect for tossing about, which could prove useful in the heat of battle

While looking for his frog, he had a bit of a tumble and fell into the undergrowth, discovering a strange sappy world living just below the surface. If he wants to make it out, he's gotta work with the locals to find his frog and brave the dangerous wilds
