I remember playing FFXIV with other players, and they happen to be speedrunners who just wanna go through the dungeon as quickly as possible, kiting enemies together and kill them all with our best AoEs.

I admit, one reason why I prefer playing with NPCs is so I do these dungeons at my own pace.

That's possible, too. Some players just wanna rush through the mission way too fast for comfort.

One player ragequitted. The entire party chose to wait until a replacement player joins the trial. This time, I made sure *really* hard to learn from my mistakes for that trial, and be the Tank. Luckily, the second attempt went through without a hitch. I got a Player Commendation for my troubles.

There's a reason why I normally don't play as a Tank in dungeons and trials in FFXIV. The amount of stress is high, as everyone expect you to carry them through the mission.

Due to my inexperience, I ended-up dying early on in a trial. And then the entire party got wiped... I felt responsible.

It's possible that I'm misremembering things, because it's been so long ago. I'm not even sure if such a music video existed; then again, there are so many absolutely bizarre music videos out there, so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

I suddenly remembered again this music video that terrified me when I was young. It was a bizarre Chinese music video about a singing skeleton, whose reflection in all the mirrors is that of the singer, flesh and blood. I must've watched it while my parents and I were traveling in China in mid 2000.

I apologize for the lack of art as of late. Been through a lot as of late, and it's wearing me out. As a result, I didn't do any New Year art this year.

To make up for it, here's a pic of myself hugging my tail tight. My tail is a surprisingly effective stress toy during these hard times.

One of the most difficult activities ever: trying to find an anime series in which the *main* character is a nonhuman beastfolk. (Furry, basically.)

I'm surprised to even *know* that such a meme exists. And here I thought that the most popular number would always gonna remain the so-called "nice" number, 69. XD But it seems that 6-7 seemed to have dethroned it now.

But yeah, as with all these youngster slangs, I also need to be careful about it, since these things are also related to brainrot media. Similar to that Tung Tung Sahur thing, too. But I definitely don't wanna be left behind, either, hence why I invested myself to learn these slangs, too.

So around 1-2 months ago, I found out about this "6-7" meme thing. I just think it's another one of those silly youngster slangs... Found out that it originated from rapper Skrilla's song, "Doot Doot (6 7)".

People were definitely at sixes and sevens about it.

Oh yeah, type "6 7" in Google. Go on.

Giftart for my friend, Phillus, over on DA. I still appreciate that giftart that he drew for me back in 2008, so to commemorate our friendship, I've decided to draw my own take of that giftart, in my own style. Had to rush while it's still Year of the Snake, too.

Also, I optimized my model's physics a bit more, by removing redundant physics, and just make these swingy parts be controlled by the existing physics instead. This also helps to reduce the computational power a bit.

So, after a few months of not updating my Live2D model, that's what I did today. Fix a little bug that I had failed to notice when I implemented tail-wagging on my model: it was interfering with my tail's natural sway physics. So, whoops. XD Now my tail can swing around naturally as intended.

These render flaws are due to the randomization within all the Sytrus-based instruments I've been using in my tracks, and it's something that's out of my control, hence why no two renders are exactly the same. Sometimes, I would notice the flaws, *after* it's been uploaded for sometime.

Well, it's mainly because I consider my track, Q Factor, as my current magnum opus, and I got bothered by the rendering flaws in the current upload. Like, I wish I could replace it with the much improved render from my experiments, but I want to be transparent with those who already bought it, too.

As a compromise, I wish that there's a way for me to provide older renders of my past tracks, in case my listeners who have *already* bought my tracks would prefer those. It would be nice if I can do that, too, without having to make my listeners pay again for the track that they've already paid.

Like, I would open my past tracks in FL Studio, and I was like, "Damn, I accidentally routed this instrument to the wrong audio channel, and I never noticed that before!?" I would also experiment ways to improve my production quality, and then wished that I could apply those to my old tracks, too.

Alright, a question to all you Bandcamp artists (or any other music sites out there): do you regularly update your old tracks every now and then?

The reason why I asked, is because I've been regularly itching to rerender my past tracks, mostly to fix render flaws and overlooked mistakes.
