A day later and no major national news org has covered what they're doing in Kansas.

This is the flip side of the hyper focus on trans issues by the right. The national media ignores what's actually being done to trans people.

This erasure is what contributes to the persecution.

Bottom line - over half Americans believe the world thinks our leaders are scum.

UPDATE: Judge Royce Lamberth has set a hearing on this motion — alleging violations of his Feb. 19 court order — for 2:30 p.m. today.

This effectively forces every trans person in the state to out themselves while applying for a job, renting an apartment, or being stopped by police. It's part of the same law that allows anyone to sue anyone else they suspect of being trans and using the "wrong" bathroom.

While I agree with your assessment, Americans have always been like this. We've always listened to charlatans and grifters until faced with undeniable evidence of their dishonesty. We've always chaffed at the thought of individual sacrifice for the common good. It is, unfortunately, who we are.
