This scene was a reimagining of this (tapas.io/episode/2807...) conversation between Nick and Charlie on the doorstep, combined with a very short scene where N&C make dinner together. It wasn't used bc it disrupted the episode's pace and also just didn't quite work emotionally how we hoped!
