And it's a wrap! #CES2026 was an outstanding show. The best part was being able to interact with some of the best industry people and draw inspiration from what they have to show. 2026 is going to be a transformative year for audio product development with many exciting technologies and innovations.

Silicon Valley is flooded with AI-hopeful startups, most of which have not even considered what’s going to power their ill-conceived concepts of business, never mind if there even is demand for such things. Nearly nothing on-device AI.

People have asked me where to go now that Micros**t is killing #Skype. For now I’m using www.viber.com/en/. It’s the closest alternative, running on all platforms, desktop and mobile and with the same level of free. Chat, calls and sharing files. And free stickers (Rakuten is a Japanese company).

CES is all about creating the connection to the future.

We had to skip a few appointments to be on time for the next suite. Apologies to all those we missed. We didn’t forget about you. It’s just that they closed the show before we could get to you. Thank you to all those who welcomed us and understood we just couldn’t sit for all the demos.

And just like that, it’s over. We dived in at #CES2025 and never stopped. Every meeting surprised us with great technologies and demonstrations. Thank you for the water, the lip balm, and the swag. We will be back next year and couldn’t recommend it more.
