This character design is a cool concept, but what's under those helmets?! Is it one of those plot twists where they take their helmets off to reveal the player's face, and then the player is like, "NOOOOO, NOW I HAVE TO FACE MY OWN DEMONNNNNS!"?

The props came with the figures. As for your other question, I'd have to claim that it was a business model for folks who Honey I Shrunk the Kids'ed themselves and needed something to do while tiny. Yes, they'd definitely buy that.
